Attleboro Community Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for this year’s holiday production!

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a hilarious Christmas classic. A couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant due to the unexpected absence of the pageant’s typical coordinator, is faced with casting the Herdman kids—probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem, and the fun, when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas pageant head on. This show features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas carols, and a lot of laughs!

Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday, September 12th and 13th from 6:30 – 8:30pm in the 3rd floor conference room at Cardi’s on Route. 1 in South Attleboro, MA. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Roles range from adults ages 20-60, teens, and children ages 5-10. There is also an Angel Choir and a few non-speaking roles perfect for those who want to give acting a go for the first time.

Rehearsals will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00-9:00pm at the theater in the Ezekiel Bates Masonic Lodge located at 71 North Main Street in Attleboro, MA. There will be additional and separate rehearsal days (as needed) for Angel Choir members.

Performances will occur on Fridays and Saturdays, December 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, and 17th at 8:00pm and Sundays December 4th, 11th, and 18th at 2:00pm. There will be no stand-ins for any roles. All cast members must be able to commit to all performances.
